Austin Beck’s practice focuses primarily on serving governmental entities, including local governments, public utilities, and various special districts, and also includes civil litigation and municipal prosecution. He advises clients in all aspects of public law, including open meetings and open records matters, real estate transactions, land use and zoning matters, drafting of ordinances and policies, preparation of contracts and licensing agreements, ethical and electoral issues, and litigation.

Mr. Beck brings to the Firm his extensive experience working for public schools in Texas and Louisiana, including independent school districts and charter schools.  He joined the Firm after serving as Assistant General Counsel to Corpus Christi Independent School District.  Prior to CCISD, Mr. Beck worked as a law clerk and associate attorney for Schulman, Lopez, Hoffer & Adelstein LLP, a boutique law firm for public schools.
