Ashley “Nikki” Vega’s practice focuses primarily on municipal law and commercial litigation matters, including insurance defense, transportation/trucking, premises, construction, and general personal injury. She currently serves as the Chief Prosecutor for the City of Helotes, Texas and provides prosecution assistance for the City of Balcones Heights.

Ms. Vega graduated magna cum laude from St. Mary’s University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Vega served as a staff writer and the Managing Executive Editor of the St. Mary’s Law Journal. As a staff writer, Ms. Vega wrote a Comment which was selected for publication. Her Comment, Securing Technological Privacy: Modernizing the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct to Protect Electronic Data, was published in Volume 10 of the St. Mary’s Journal on Legal Malpractice & Ethics. Prior to joining Davidson, Troilo, Ream & Garza as an associate, Ms. Vega clerked at the firm and worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Eduardo Rodriguez in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
